Job Description
The role of Retail Senior Sales Associate is pivotal in supporting the leadership team in delivering a best-in-class flagship retail experience. Acting as a key holder and floor leader, you will drive commercial performance, lead by example on the shop floor, and ensure the highest standards of customer experience, visual presentation, and team engagement. As a brand ambassador, you will bring the 47 culture to life through storytelling, product expertise, and an elevated service approach, supporting key launches, events and high-profile trading periods.
You will play a critical role in driving sales, developing team capability, executing operational excellence and supporting the management team in achieving store profitability and strategic objectives. Responsibilities Lead the sales floor, acting as a role model for exceptional customer service, product knowledge and brand storytelling .Drive individual and team sales performance, consistently meeting and exceeding KPIs including Sales, Conversion, ATV, UPT and Sales Per Hour .Take responsibility for opening and closing the store, ensuring all procedures are followed to the highest standard .Support the management team in creating a high performing, engaged and motivated team environment .Coach and develop Retail Sales Associates through real-time feedback, product knowledge sharing and on-floor training .Support succession planning by identifying and developing talent within the store team .Deliver an elevated flagship experience, ensuring every customer interaction reflects 47 culture .Support the execution of product launches, campaigns, and in-store activations to flagship standards .Maintain exceptional visual merchandising standards in line with brand guidelines .Monitor trading performance and provide insightful feedback through daily, weekly, and event-based reporting .Support omnichannel initiatives including Click & Collect, Endless Aisle and digital customer engagement where applicable .Handle customer queries, complaints and returns effectively, ensuring positive outcomes and brand loyalty .Ensure compliance with all company policies, including health & safety, security, and operational procedures .Oversee stock processes, including deliveries, replenishment, transfers, and cycle counts, ensuring accuracy and availability . Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Behaviou rs Through experience, you must be able to demonstrate acquired skill and measurable success in: Proven experience in a fast-paced retail environment with previous supervisory or floor management responsibil ity.Strong understanding of flagship or high-profile retail environments and customer expectati ons.Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop a t eam.Strong commercial awareness with the ability to analyse performance and act on insig hts.Excellent customer service and sales leadership ski lls.Strong knowledge of the 47 brand, product, and consu mer.Experience with retail systems, POS, and operational proces ses.High standards of visual merchandising and stock managem ent.Ability to build strong customer relationships and drive repeat busin ess.Confident decision-maker capable of resolving issues in the absence of managem ent.Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to det ail.Fluent in English (spoken and writt en).Values diversity and contributes to an inclusive team cult ure.Ability to stand for extended peri ods.Ability to safely move, replenish and merchandise st ock.Ability to occasionally lift and move merchandise in accordance with company guideli nes.
Education, and Exper ience GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics req uired.Further education qualification (A-Level, BTEC, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) desi rable.Retail, Business, Management, Customer Service, Fashion or Sports-related studies advanta geous.Leadership, coaching or supervisory training desi rable.Commitment to continuous learning and development through company training progr ammes.Minimum 2 years' experience in retail, preferably within a premium, flagship or high-volume enviro nment.Previous experience supervising, coaching or leading retail colle agues.Demonstrable success in achieving sales targets and driving KPI perfor mance.Experience handling customer escalations and resolving issues effect ively.Experience supporting visual merchandising and operational exec ution. Please note that this role is fixed term for 6 months.
