Business Development Manager Manchester | Hybrid Working We're currently supporting a leading UK law firm on the appointment of a Business Development Manager to join its growing Business Development team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Development professional to work closely with partners and senior stakeholders, helping to identify opportunities, strengthen client relationships and support the firm's continued growth The role offers a broad remit, working across multiple practice areas and sectors, with a strong emphasis on relationship building, networking and market engagement Key responsibilities • Identify and develop new business opportunities • Build and maintain relationships with clients, intermediaries and key contacts • Support partners and senior stakeholders with business development activity • Represent the firm at networking events, conferences and industry functions • Contribute to lead generation and pipeline development initiatives • Work closely with marketing and bids teams on growth opportunities • Help raise the firm's profile across key markets and sectors About You • Experience within Business Development, Client Development or Commercial Growth • Background within legal services or wider professional services • Strong networking and relationship-building skills • Commercially minded with a proactive approach • Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and clients • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills What's on Offer? • Newly created opportunity • Broad and varied role • High level of stakeholder exposure • Strong team environment • Hybrid working • Genuine opportunity to make an impact This role would suit someone who enjoys building relationships, creating opportunities and working closely with senior stakeholders to support business growth.
