We'd love to connect with you. The Opportunity We are currently recruiting a Mechanical Design Engineer for an innovative technology company located in downtown Montreal. You'll join a small, highly collaborative engineering team where every technical decision matters and where your work has a direct, visible impact on the final product.

Your Impact As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the physical design, reliability, and manufacturability of the product. Your 3D models will become the foundation of a technology designed to reduce industrial energy consumption on a global scale. You'll work in an agile environment where your ideas are valued, your voice is heard, and your contributions directly influence the success of the product.

Key Responsibilities Design and model product assemblies, detailed drawings, and mechanical packaging using SolidWorks. Perform thermal simulations and CFD analyses to optimize heat dissipation and ensure reliable operation in high-efficiency systems. Design high-power mechanical systems and develop power cable routing solutions.

Evaluate design durability, including vibration, impact, and fatigue performance, and generate Bills of Materials (BOMs). Build, assemble, and test prototypes, taking designs from concept through manufacturing readiness. Collaborate closely with electrical engineering and production teams throughout the entire product development cycle.

Support product validation, testing, and continuous design improvements. QualificationsRequired Experience Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design for industrial electronics, power systems, or related products. Advanced proficiency with SolidWorks, including assemblies, detailed drawings, and product packaging.

Strong expertise in thermal analysis, CFD simulation, and heat management. Experience with plastic injection molding, BOM generation, and durability testing. Hands-on experience developing products from concept through prototyping and production.

Preferred Qualifications Experience with 3DEXPERIENCE is considered an asset. Familiarity with electric motor control systems is a strong asset. What Will Make You Successful Strong hands-on skills and a practical mindset—you enjoy building and testing your own prototypes.
