Job Summary Schedule: Full-time Employee Status: Regular Grade: H Work Arrangement: On Site Job Code: 4400 Requisition ID: 109371 Job Purpose Manage activities of assigned projects from initiation through completion with limited guidance; coordinate all technical activities on assigned projects. Work typically comprises 30% contribution towards project leadership and 70% as a technical contributor. Core Duties Review project plans and proposals, and work with management to develop project objectives; identify project responsibilities by determining the phases and elements of the project.
Calculate time frames and sequence the stages of the project. Perform project management oversight of small projects or more than one large task within a larger project. Oversee, coordinate, and perform technical aspects of project, with guidance, based on type of project manager support required (e.g., engineer, quality, scheduler).
Review, evaluate, approve, and monitor cost schedule and technical scope baselines. Ensure the preparation of required project documentation. Contribute to communication plan and change management elements.
Preferred technical work experience in engineering, architecture, or construction management or related fields. Preferred technical education in engineering, architecture, or construction management or related fields. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Polished written and oral communication skills to address a wide variety of audiences. Ability to productively contribute to cross‑functional teams. Depth of knowledge in technical discipline/domain needed to deliver projects.
Demonstrated project management ability to employ integration, scope, time management, cost, quality, human resources, communications, risk, and procurement components. Certifications and Licenses None Physical Requirements Frequently stand/walk, sit, perform desk‑based computer tasks and lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds. Occasionally use a telephone, write by hand, twist/bend/stoop/squat, grasp lightly/fine manipulation and lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh up to 20 pounds.
Rarely kneel, crawl, climb ladders, reach/work above shoulder, grasp forcefully, carry, push, and pull objects that weigh up to 40 pounds or more. Maintain a valid non‑commercial California Driver's license. Auditory acuity with ability to hear horns and bells.
Visual acuity with ability to determine colors for finishes. Ability to climb scaffolding, ladders, stairs, etc. Working Conditions May work in active laboratories or outdoor environments.
May be exposed to extreme hot and cold temperatures, high voltage electricity, radiation, electromagnetic fields, lasers, noise > 80 dB TWA, allergens/biohazards/chemicals/asbestos, or heavy metals. May work on roofs at heights greater than 10 ft. May drive vehicle day and night.
Must wear personal protective equipment as defined/required by job assignments and dress for clean rooms. May work extended hours, evenings, and weekends. Work Standards Compliance with California Vehicle Code and Stanford University driving requirements.

Pay Range Expected pay range: $100,000 to $108,000 per annum.
