Senior Software Engineer, STAR.UI (Mission Autonomy, Hybrid)

Job Title Applied AI Team Member – STAR.OS Portfolio Location King Of Prussia, PA On-site or Remote (part-time remote available) Job Description Join Lockheed Martin's Artificial Intelligence Center (LAIC) Applied AI team, working on the STAR.OS portfolio. This role involves developing and deploying AI‑driven software solutions across prototypes, production, and demonstrations. The team focuses on rapid iteration, agile development, and delivering cutting‑edge capabilities to customers.

Responsibilities Develop software products implementing Artificial Intelligence for customer capabilities. Engage in all phases of the system development lifecycle (requirements, design, implementation, integration, testing). Work on proof‑of‑concepts, prototypes, demonstrators, and transition to production.

Use object‑oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms to solve complex problems. Utilize concurrency (threaded and multi‑processing) and I/O (block storage, network, database). Assume technical lead responsibilities and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline. Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript. Experience with Angular, React, or Node.

Strong understanding of Git. Experience with DevOps tools (Docker/Podman, Kubernetes/Helm, GitLab/GitHub/Jenkins CI/CD). Additional Details Work at any major Lockheed Martin facility or part‑time remotely.
