About the Role Weâre seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Magnetics manufacturing division across multiple production sites (Greater Long Island, NY, and Mexico). This highâvisibility leadership role will drive operational performance, align production with revenue goals, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across a multiâsite organization.
Responsibilities Customer & Program Success Ensure production meets or exceeds OnâTime Delivery (OTD), quality, and customer satisfaction metrics. Collaborate with Planning to align build plans with backlog, forecasts, and business priorities. Monitor program performance and proactively address schedule or delivery risks.
Lead a crossâfunctional, multiâsite operations team including 3â5 direct reports. Recruit, train, and develop production talent at all levels. Align workforce planning and resource allocation with active and projected workload.
Productivity & Continuous Improvement Ensure adherence to documented work instructions and operational best practices. Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and standardization efforts. Lead capital investment (CapEx) projects focused on efficiency, throughput, and quality.
CrossâFunctional Collaboration Partner with Procurement to maintain optimal material flow and minimize production delays. Work closely with Engineering to support product development and NPI (New Product Introduction) transitions. Coordinate with Sales and Planning to ensure operations scale in step with demand forecasts.
Qualifications Bachelorâs degree required (Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business); Masterâs preferred. 5+ years of progressive manufacturing operations leadership experience. ERP/MRP proficiency; experience with Glovia ERP is a plus. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Bilingual in English and Spanish required. Ability to travel to Mexicoâbased facilities quarterly. Strong leadership and people development capability.
Skilled in managing crossâfunctional teams and complex production schedules. Proven track record implementing Lean and process improvement initiatives. Decisive, dataâdriven, and effective in fastâpaced environments.
