About the job Senior Structural Engineer Principal Duties And Responsibilities Provide design for structural components necessary for the development of a project. Perform structural wood and steel calculations for commercial and residential projects. Perform reinforced concrete calculations for building slabs, spread footings, retaining walls etc. Structural engineer shall have ability of understanding, interpreting and correctly applying national codes and standards such as IRC, IBC, ASCE-7, ACI, and AISC. Keep up to date on new engineering processes, techniques, and IMS and standards. Ensure that effective methods and design/engineering techniques are used. Resolve project issues and problems. Provide technical guidance to co-workers. Contribute to a team environment by accomplishing related results in a cooperative and supportive manner.

Works autonomously without direct supervision.
