Overview Product – Senior Manager/Manager, Wash Location: Support Office (Vancouver) | Time type: Full time Posted on: Posted Today | Job Requisition ID: R0023216 Team The mission of the Wash department is to ensure the world‑class execution of washes. Opportunity Aritzia is growing and our Wash team is expanding. This is a unique opportunity to develop and execute Product washes that deliver on Aritzia’s Everyday Luxury promise.
You will play a pivotal role in developing, refining, and standardizing Product washes across the ready‑to‑wear assortment (excluding denim and heavy woven product), working cross‑functionally with Product Creative and Manufacturing Sub‑Division teams to ensure each wash brings the creative vision to life while meeting world‑class standards for technical wash application. Role & Responsibilities Work with the appropriate Business Support partners to seamlessly lead the day‑to‑day function of the department in support of corporate objectives, while enabling progressive career development and an incredible employee experience. Establish a cross‑functional wash approval process that outlines roles and accountability by department, to ensure we can seamlessly deliver on Aritzia’s Everyday Luxury promise.
Develop world‑class washes for Aritzia’s ready‑to‑wear assortment (excluding denim and heavy woven product) that meet the creative vision and are compliant with all regulatory guidelines. Ensure our Manufacturing Suppliers and in‑region Product Integrity wash lead have the approved standards and formulas to meet Aritzia’s technical wash requirements and aesthetic outcomes. Manage the physical and digital wash assets associated with the end‑to‑end wash lifecycle, from sample development, testing, and through to wash application during bulk production.
Qualifications Proven and best‑in‑class skills, applicable certifications, education and/or experience in: Education in Textile or Chemical Engineering Knowledge of the wash process and techniques, chemicals, dyeing, finishing, and advanced treatments Knowledge of global wash testing methods, performance standards, and chemical safety A commitment to learn, apply, champion, and enrich Aritzia's values and Business and People Leadership principles Ability to collaborate strategically with cross‑functional partners in pursuit of shared business outcomes A dedication to quality and investing in results and new business opportunities that add value Compensation At Aritzia, we provide market‑leading compensation packages designed to reward impact through our pay‑for‑performance philosophy. The range for roles at this level is $100,000 - $300,000 per year. Total compensation may include base, bonus and/or equity depending on the role, which has the potential to be greater than this range.
