Product Development Engineer (Hamilton)

Position Description: This role focuses on the research and development of new membrane technology products, including developing membrane products from concept through design, testing, and eventually commercial launch. This job is best suited for someone who shows very high initiative and has proven they can come up with creative solutions to problems. Prior experience in a manufacturing/research & development environment is an asset.

Responsibilities Design, develop, model, and construct manufacturing machines, membrane products, and production equipment Perform continuous improvement initiatives Understand, operate and troubleshoot machinery/equipment Communicate technical knowledge in a transparent and understandable manner Work independently and in a team atmosphere Commissioning and debugging the start-up of our various projects Position Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in a relevant field (Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, B.Tech, Production Engineering, or similar) Understanding of basic machine design principles Experience managing a manufacturing team or group of operators is preferred The Ideal Candidate will also have: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Outstanding organizational and planning skills Experience with SolidWorks Creative and critical thinking capability Hands‑on capabilities to build prototypes and demos Compensation and Benefits This position is eligible for medical benefits.
