Senior Business Analyst

Senior Business Analyst Location: Ottawa Language: English Required Security Clearance: Secret Security Clearance Required We are seeking a skilled Senior Business Analyst for a 2-year contract beginning July 20, 2026 . This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with a hybrid work model , requiring 4 days on-site per month (in Ottawa), and occasional overtime during non-standard business hours. Candidates must hold a valid Secret security clearance .

Tasks and services involve supporting production readiness , go-live planning , and operational transition activities for a major financial system implementation. Responsibilities include collaborating with business and QA stakeholders to validate business scenarios , operational workflows , and testing outcomes , while coordinating issue resolution, operational readiness activities, and deployment support throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting integration testing , User Acceptance Testing (UAT) , and end-to-end validation , along with expertise in developing and maintaining operational documentation , including SOPs , runbooks , process flows , support procedures , and user guidance materials .

This role requires exceptional communication , facilitation , and stakeholder coordination skills , acting as a key liaison between business , technical , QA , and operational support teams to ensure successful implementation and stabilization. Candidates should possess a university degree or college diploma in Computer Science or a related field , with a minimum of 5 years of recent experience supporting production readiness and operational transition activities for technology solutions.
