Platform Engineer | £75,000 (Total Package) | x2 Days per Week - Stockport Over 10 million users globally The Company: Here at Burns Sheehan, we’re working with a well‑established digital platform that connects millions of users globally, to help find homes and shared living arrangements. They’ve been operating for over 20 years and remain privately owned, allowing them to stay focused on product quality and long‑term user experience. They’ve recently completed a full migration from on‑premise infrastructure to Google Cloud and are now investing in a more scalable, secure and cloud‑native platform.

The Role: They’re looking for a Platform Engineer to join their core infrastructure team, helping to shape and optimise their cloud environment. This is a hands‑on role focused on improving platform reliability, automation and developer experience, while continuing to build out self‑service capabilities for engineering teams. Responsibilities: Ensure platform and infrastructure security, reliability, and performance Design, maintain, and automate scalable, cloud‑native infrastructure on GCP Develop platform tooling and self‑service capabilities for engineering teams Collaborate with developers to support product delivery Maintain high engineering standards through documentation and best practices Sound like the role for you?
