The Role โ Client Account Manager As a Client Account Manager, youโll lead the client accounts team and help deliver exceptional service across loc8me portfolios nationwide. Youโll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operational performance of the client accounts team, ensuring processes are efficient, deadlines are met, and both landlords and tenants receive a professional, high-quality experience. Working closely with the Finance Director, youโll lead, support, and develop a team while helping drive performance, accountability, and continuous improvement across the department.
This is a fast-paced leadership role that requires strong organisational skills, confidence in managing people, and a proactive mindset. W hat Youโll Be Doing โ Developing the team to deliver and maintain great relationships with Landlords, Tenants, and Contractors โ Carry out monthly rent arrears meetings with our higher investors. โ Ensuring all of the team's payment deadlines are fulfilled on time. โ Assisting with escalated rent arrears and complaint handling โ Developing processes to ensure the Tenant and Landlord experience is exceptional โ Review and audit the accounts team's performance โ Quality operations to ensure the team is working to the best of their abilities โ Recruit new team members โ Set company KPIs and review every month with the Finance director โ Deliver monthly 1-2-1s, staff reviews, and annual appraisals โ Provide initial and ongoing training to all team members โ Build & maintain effective working relationships with the branches W hat Weโre Looking For We want someone who: โ Excellent organisational skills โ Excellent communication skills to provide a high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders โ Accounting and Financial administration experience preferred โ Experience and knowledge of the Property and Lettings Industry โ ideal but not essential โ Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative โ Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines โ Previous experience in managing a team โ Flexible and adaptable in approach to work Experience in a finance or client accounts environment is desirable, but mindset, drive, and attitude matter just as much.
