Job Description
About the Role As a Senior All‑Source Intelligence Data Analyst at SRC Can, you will use specialist software and tools to conduct complex data analysis that enables SRC Can to fulfill contractual obligations and deliver quality products that meet customer requirements. Your work supports decision‑makers and stakeholders in understanding and mitigating threats in a complex environment. The position is a hybrid role located in Ottawa, Ontario, requiring regular on‑site work at multiple SRC Can and Department of National Defence locations. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Deputize for the IMD Lead and support day‑to‑day management and operation of the analysis team; Perform complex data analysis to create products that meet customer requirements; Carry out Interpretive Quality Assurance (IQA), Technical Quality Assurance (TQA) and Production Quality Assurance (Prod QA) checks as required; Liaise with the SRC Can Senior SW Dev Lead to align IMD Production Processes and Tools with the IMD Production SW Team; Ensure that products, outputs and services comply with the SRC Can Quality Management System (QMS); Proficiency with SRC Can data analysis tools; Complete Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to enhance workplace capabilities; Support management and delivery of workplace training (WpT) and mentor All‑Source Intelligence Analysts; Assist in the development, delivery and continual improvement of SRC Can EWIR Team working practices; Perform tasks as directed in support of SRC Can objectives and targets. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mathematics or physics; Minimum 5 years of experience in Electronic Warfare (EW), radar analysis, signals intelligence, defence intelligence or closely related environments; Understanding of Systems Engineering; Programming skills in Python, MATLAB, C++ or similar (asset); Experience delivering training or education in radar‑related areas (desirable); Strong written and oral communication skills; Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a technical team; Capacity for limited domestic and international travel; Security clearance requirements: eligibility to access Controlled Goods, ITAR‑restricted information and other export‑controlled information; ability to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Secret Security Clearance, with potential for Top Secret clearance as required. Location and Working Environment The role is hybrid: you will normally work out of the SRC Can Ltd office in Gloucester, Ottawa, ON, and, when required, at Department of National Defence facilities such as the Shirley’s Bay and Tunney’s Pasture areas within the National Capital Region.
