The CAF recognizes select civilian college and university programs as aligned with specific military occupations under the Non-Commissioned Member Subsidized Training and Education Plan (NCMSTEP). Overview As a member of the military, Medical Radiation Technologists provide diagnostic imaging services for health care professionals, which are used to diagnose and treat medical and surgical conditions. Responsibilities Provide patient care Produce diagnostic examinations Assist radiologists, medical specialists and medical officers Maintain equipment, accessories and supplies Maintain a Quality Assurance Program Qualifications & Requirements Completion of a relevant post-secondary program aligned to the occupation (e.g., Medical Radiation Technology diploma), along with any required certifications such as CAMRT certification, active unrestricted license, and letter of good standing (if applicable) Prior experience within the CAF within the same field of work How to Express Interest Individuals interested in learning more about this CAF occupation are encouraged to click apply to start a conversation.
