Senior Manager (Winnipeg)

The Portfolio Group is looking for a Senior Recruitment Manager (agency background) to lead and grow our Payroll Recruitment team in Toronto. Responsibilities Lead from the front in running your own desk within Payroll Recruitment, taking responsibility for the full recruitment lifecycle including business development, winning new clients, recruiting, candidate and client management, and running the full process. Coach and mentor the existing recruitment team.

Work with the Director to grow and shape the business and establish hiring plans. Client Development & Business Development Work with a large, warm and varied client platform covering all industries. Generate leads and conduct client meetings – both in person and video.

Head‑hunt, network and manage the candidate process. Internal cross‑selling and collaboration. Database management.

Qualifications Successful 360 agency recruiter incorporating both recruiting and sales, with a professional services sector background. Previous experience leading and managing a team. Strong experience in business development and winning new clients.

Strong candidate management and process management skills. Strong relationship‑building skills. Driven, proactive and self‑motivated with a strong work ethic.
