Overview At PwC, professionals in business application consulting specialise in helping clients optimise operational efficiency through the implementation of business applications and related services. As a Workday Consulting Generalist, you will focus on delivering consulting services across a broad range of Workday applications, analysing client needs, implementing solutions, and providing training and support to ensure effective utilisation. Responsibilities Analyze and understand end‑to‑end integration architectures, including upstream and downstream system dependencies.

Own integration delivery across one or more workstreams, ensuring successful planning, estimation, execution, testing, deployment, and hyper‑care. Lead the design and implementation of Workday integrations, including Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, APIs, and third‑party middleware. Partner with functional, technical, and client leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables.

Make architectural decisions that balance performance, security, maintainability, and scalability. Identify integration risks early and proactively manage data quality, error handling, monitoring, and reconciliation strategies. Review integration design code, using these reviews as opportunities to coach and up‑skill team members.

Guide and mentor integration consultants, encouraging continuous learning and growth beyond established strengths. Lead and contribute to integration standards, reusable assets, and best practices. Address delivery issues and conflicts, engaging in difficult conversations with clients, vendors and internal teams, escalating when appropriate.

Ensure integrations comply with security, data privacy, audit, and compliance requirements. Uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards, the firm’s code of conduct, and independence requirements. Qualifications Solid background in Workday Integrations with hands‑on experience in Studio/Orchestrate, Core Connectors (CCW, CCB, PECI, etc.), EIBs (inbound and outbound), REST/SOAP APIs and OAuth2.0 security.

Proven experience architecting integration solutions aligned to client business requirements and technical constraints. Deep understanding of Workday integration frameworks, tenant migration strategies, and release management. Experience leading integration design documentation, including integration architecture diagrams, data mappings, transformation logic, error handling and reconciliation approaches.

Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams, collaborating with HR, Finance, Payroll, vendors and infrastructure teams. Experience managing third‑party vendors and coordinating point‑to‑point and middleware‑based integrations. Strong knowledge of file‑based, API‑based, and event‑driven integration patterns.

Understanding of knowledge transfer, operational handover, and production support models. Experience with testing strategies, including unit, end‑to‑end and regression testing for integrations. Familiarity with integration monitoring, alerting and support processes.

Experience working in large, complex Workday programs with multiple tenants and environments. Fluency in French and English (preferred). Active Canadian government security clearance or eligibility to obtain one (preferred).

Commitment to building, coaching and supporting diverse and inclusive teams. Education & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field (required). Master’s degree or advanced study in a related area (preferred).

Workday Integration certification (desired). Benefits & Compensation The salary range for this position is $112,400 – $162,400. In addition to a competitive base salary, eligible employees may participate in variable incentive pay programs designed to reward individual and firm‑wide achievements.
