Role Overview In this role, you will be an Analytics Project Manager working with business partners, understanding their problems, creating analytics solutions, and presenting information back to them. Responsibilities Manage projects through the full lifecycle, including scope definition, requirements, timelines, and project scope. Create analytical outputs such as current data sets, dashboards, actionable insights, and deep-dive analytics that support business growth and development.
Create artifacts, including project plans, documentation, data lineage, metadata, and metric definitions. Present analytical outputs, communicate findings, and provide actionable recommendations to business partners and key stakeholders. Make cross-functional connections between data requests from diverse teams to streamline requests and create synergies across teams.
Act as a subject matter expert with channel partners (Digital, Branch, Call Centre, ABM, etc.) and other key stakeholders to proactively look for solutions to business problems. Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in regularly scheduled and ad‑hoc meetings, using compelling visuals, slides, and storytelling to secure buy‑in for ideas, proposals, and recommendations. Engage in regular meetings with business lines and other functional stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities, proactively suggesting data analysis or visualizations to help grow their businesses.
Collaborate with other Data, Technology, and Analytics partners. Promote data literacy with partners and key stakeholders to raise collective understanding of available data, tools, and analytics. Champion data-driven decision-making.
Proactively suggest project ideas, process improvements, or value opportunities. Investigate and become an expert in available data sources, transform data, and determine how they can be interpreted for analysis. Identify gaps and develop a plan of action to address them.
Develop and produce reusable data assets using business acumen, statistical, and visualization techniques. Conduct analysis using descriptive or advanced techniques on massive volumes of structured and unstructured data to create actionable insights. Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical partners to establish trends, understand performance, identify opportunities for growth, and provide actionable insights.
Develop and produce analyses, reports, and insights for partners to drive tactical, operational, or strategic decision‑making in support of business goals. Qualifications University education in Business, Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience. Project Management skills/experience.
Strong oral and written communication skills. End-to-end analytics experience: exploring, cleaning, aggregating, and consolidating data; creating analytical outputs; synthesizing information into easy-to-understand formats; communicating and presenting findings. Experience querying and working with large data sets, ideally within an Enterprise Data Lake, Enterprise Data Warehouse, or Cloud environment.
Ability to manage planning, processes, and coordination of multiple projects. Data visualization experience (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, Domo, etc.). Programming language proficiency in at least one of SQL, Python, R, or SAS.
