Job Description

The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking a fulltime board certified or board eligible maternal fetal medicine specialist to support the department's outpatient faculty practices and the NewYork-Presbyterian Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns. The position will hold a rank of Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology. Under the direction of the Chair and Director of Maternal Fetal Medicine, the person in this position will: Provide clinical care in an outpatient setting including antepartum visits, preventive and problem-based gynecologic care and performing office procedures Participate in an in-house labor and delivery call coverage pool for maternal fetal medicine patients at Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns Provide clinical care reading ultrasound scans and oversight of the antepartum testing unit Care for antepartum and postpartum inpatients Teach and supervise medical students, residents, fellows, and advanced practice providers Participate in continuing medical education and department quality initiatives Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus excellent benefits, relocation assistance, and professional development opportunities are part of this nationally and locally competitive compensation package.

Salary Range: $ 390,000 - 425,000 (Assistant Professor) *Weill Cornell Medicine provides the above salary range in compliance with the New York City law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range listed is for full-time employment not including bonuses, clinical incentive compensation, or benefits. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, specialty, training, and hospital/community needs.

Qualifications: Qualified candidates must have a medical degree, successfully complete a 4-year ACGME-accredited obstetrics and gynecology residency program, and successfully complete a 3-year ACGME-accredited maternal fetal medicine fellowship. Candidates must be board eligible or board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and maternal fetal medicine. The candidates must have or be able to obtain a valid New York State Medical License and possess a commitment to excellence and teaching.
