What You'll Do Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to translate requirements into system designs Decompose system requirements into architecture, interfaces, and test strategies Coordinate with software, integration, and test teams to ensure system performance Support the design and deployment of ground systems and communication networks Contribute to system lifecycle activities including design, validation, and integration Job Requirements What You'll Bring 5+ years of experience in systems engineering (or 3+ years with a Master's degree) Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field 3+ years of experience in system design, requirements decomposition, and integration What Sets You Apart Experience with satellite communications, ground systems, or DoD network design (e.g., Link-16, SatCom) Familiarity with cloud‑based architectures and microservices Experience with MBSE tools such as Cameo or MagicDraw Programming experience in Java, Python, or MATLAB Background in simulation and modeling tools such as STK Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills Additional Information Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen Occasional overtime may be required based on project needs In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire Successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a (Secret/Top Secret/etc.) DoD security clearance Aleron companies (Acara Solutions, Aleron Shared Resources, Broadleaf Results, Lume Strategies, TalentRise, Viaduct) are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
