Role Overview This role is responsible for driving growth of Schneider Electric's software and digital solutions portfolio across India, including Energy, Industrial and Building segments. The position focuses on leading consultative, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and positioning software as a key driver of digital transformation, operational efficiency and sustainability outcomes. Key Software Areas • Energy: PME, EPO, ETAP Real-Time, Substation Automation (EPAS) • Industrial Software: AVEVA Plant SCADA, AVEVA System Platform, AVEVA MES, AVEVA Unified Operations Center, EcoStruxure Process Expert, EcoStruxure Automation Expert • Building Management System Key Responsibilities 1.

Sales & Business Development • Drive end-to-end software sales cycles from opportunity creation to closure across assigned territories/accounts • Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities to meet order and sales growth targets • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder deals involving Customers, Consultants, Contractors, EcoXpert Partners, System Integrators etc. 2. Consultative & Solution Selling • Understand customer business challenges and position software-led solutions (digital twin, analytics, automation) as business enablers • Drive solution shaping, technical qualification and value articulation • Work closely with Region/ Branch Sales, Prescription & Business Division teams for demos, architectures and technical proposals 3. Account & Customer Leadership • Develop and execute account-specific software growth strategies • Build strong relationships with CXOs, IT/OT leaders, plant heads and engineering teams • Identify expansion opportunities within existing and new customers General 4.

Partner & Ecosystem Engagement • Collaborate with System Integrators, EcoXpert partners, Consultants and other channel partners to drive execution & new opportunities • Work with internal teams (Regional/ Branch sales, Solution Architects/ SAEs/PAEs, Marketing) to shape winning proposals 5. Market Development • Track market trends, competitor positioning and evolving customer needs Preferred Domain Expertise Candidates are expected to bring depth in at least one domain: • Power systems / utilities / substation automation • Industrial automation / SCADA / EAE • Smart buildings / BMS / energy efficiency • Digital transformation / IT-OT convergence Key Skills • Strong business + technical storytelling • Ability to engage senior stakeholders (CXO / plant / IT/OT) • Commercial acumen and negotiation capability • Collaboration across cross-functional teams • Learning agility across evolving software portfolio General Success Profile (What will differentiate candidates) • Ability to sell outcomes, not products (efficiency, sustainability, reliability) • Comfort in hybrid role (sales + solution shaping) • Strong hunter mindset with strategic account capability • Experience in driving large, strategic or first-of-its-kind deals Location(s): Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata/ Bhubaneshwar, Ahmedabad General Qualifications & Experience • Education: Engineering background is a must • At-least 5 years of experience in software sales, industrial automation or digital solutions, preferably from the same industry • Proven experience in enterprise or consultative selling • Strong ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders • Good understanding of industrial/energy domains and customer workflows • Experience working with partners or ecosystem-driven sales models
