Junior Analyst

Junior Commercial Analyst | Normanton / Hybrid | £25k-£30k If you have just graduated with a numerical or science based degree, have very strong excel, analytical skills and you are looking for your first step into commercial analytics, this is worth a read. I am working with a fast-growing multi-channel trading business based in Normanton, West Yorkshire on a brand new Junior Commercial Analyst role. This is a genuine opportunity to start your career inside a real commercial environment, not a graduate scheme that keeps you on the sidelines.

What the role actually involves: You will be working across some of the biggest online marketplaces in the UK including Amazon UK and EU, TikTok Shop, eBay, B&Q Marketplace, Tesco Marketplace, OnBuy, and D2C websites. Day to day you will support performance analysis by SKU and category, help build pricing and margin reporting, assist with stock and inventory forecasting, and contribute to dashboards and trading packs presented to senior leadership. This is hands-on commercial exposure from day one, not years of admin before you get near anything interesting.

What they are looking for: A recent graduate with a numerical or science based degree, mathematics, economics, physics, data science, or similar would all suit. Strong Excel skills are essential along with genuine exposure to data analysis, whether through your degree, a placement year, or a project. You do not need direct eCommerce experience.

What matters is that you think analytically, you are naturally curious, and you are not afraid to ask why. You will need to be able to drive and commute to Normanton, West Yorkshire two to three days a week as this is a hybrid role. What you get in return: Real commercial exposure from the start.
