The Role Within the role of Senior Mechanical Engineer Auxiliary Systems you’ll be responsibl e for: • Developing, maintaining and modifying engineering processes and procedures in assigned areas in response to technical developments and operation al need• Carry out relatively complex technical analyses and investigations, including evaluation and selection of technical options, and prepare reports with suggested recommendations to support the resolution of problems and the improvement of engineering capa bility.• Be familiar with the design of auxiliary systems and practised in delivering solutions that meet customer requirements in all phases of the shipbuilding cy cle.You• Experience in engineering or a defence related i ndustry• Experience and expertise, in Marine Engineering Systems• Experience in the design, build, integration, support and operation of Naval ships.• Knowledge and experience of shipbuilding, Operations processes and modern build stra tegies.

In addition, any experience of Auxiliary system design knowledge in the following disciplines and specialising in at least one of: • Fluid system design including flow modelling• Flow calculations, use of pipes a nd valves• Hydraulics and compressed ga s systems• Petroleum, Oils and Lubrican ts (POL).• Water Systems, including Chil led Water APPLY NOW If this sounds like the role for you, we’d love to hear from you!
