Senior Software Engineer | Leicester · Hybrid · Permanent We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a talented team building cloud-based solutions in a financial services environment. You'll have room to grow, take on real responsibility, and help raise the standard for those around you. What you'll do Collaborate with BAs and product owners to refine and deliver the backlog Design, build and maintain software solutions following best practices Implement test automation and support end users on production defects Mentor junior team members and lead on key activities What we're looking for C# .NET proficiency with full SDLC experience in a commercial environment Design patterns, SOLID principles and Agile methodologies Test automation (NUnit, xUnit, Playwright) and RESTful Web API design UI skills — JavaScript/jQuery, Bootstrap/Tailwind TSQL and C# ORMs (Entity Framework, Dapper) Cloud experience, preferably Azure Nice to have AI tools (GitHub Copilot/Claude/Perplexity), CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Azure Pipelines) Finance, wealth management or pensions knowledge What's in it for you Competitive salary · ⏰ 34.5-hour week · Hybrid working 25 days' holiday (increasing with service) · 5/5% pension 4x life assurance & income protection · Health cash plan Training & development support ·
