Job Description โ€“ Manager โ€“ Project Execution & Store Fit-Out Position Summary The Manager โ€“ Retail Store Fit-Out & Project Execution is responsible for end-to-end execution of new store projects, renovations, relocations, and store upgrades across the retail network. The role ensures timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of stores while maintaining brand standards, statutory compliance, and operational readiness. The incumbent will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Development, Design, VM, Procurement, Operations, Finance, and external vendors to deliver world-class retail environments.

Key Responsibilities Store Project Execution Execute end-to-end store fit-out projects from site handover to store launch. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and execution schedules. Ensure projects are completed within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Coordinate multiple store projects simultaneously across assigned regions. Drive on-time store opening by proactively managing project milestones. Civil & Interior Fit-Out Execute civil, interior, carpentry, painting, flooring, false ceiling, and finishing works.

Coordinate MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) execution. Ensure adherence to approved store layouts, design drawings, and brand guidelines. Monitor workmanship quality and ensure defect-free handover.

Project Planning & Coordination Coordinate with Business Development for site handovers. Work closely with Design and Visual Merchandising teams to ensure execution as per approved concepts. Liaise with Procurement for timely availability of materials and fixtures.

Coordinate with IT, Security, HVAC, Fire Safety, Signage, and other stakeholders for seamless execution. Vendor & Contractor Management Identify, onboard, and manage contractors and project vendors. Evaluate contractor performance based on quality, timelines, safety, and commercial adherence.

Conduct regular site meetings and progress reviews. Ensure contractor bills are verified as per work completion. Budget & Cost Management & Quality Assurance Prepare project cost estimates and BOQs.

Monitor project budgets and control cost overruns. Validate contractor bills, work orders, and change requests. Optimize project costs without compromising quality.

Ensure execution meets company quality benchmarks. Conduct periodic site inspections and quality audits. Prepare snag lists and ensure closure before store opening.

Drive continuous improvement in construction quality and execution processes. Project Monitoring & Reporting Track project progress using dashboards and MIS. Publish weekly project status reports highlighting risks and mitigation plans.

Maintain project documentation including drawings, approvals, vendor records, and completion certificates. Monitor project KPIs including: On-time store openings Budget adherence Quality compliance Snag closure timelines Statutory Compliance Ensure compliance with fire safety, electrical, local authority, and mall regulations. Coordinate approvals with landlords and statutory bodies.

Ensure stores are handed over with all required certifications. Store Handover Conduct final walkthrough with Operations. Ensure all assets, fixtures, signage, and utilities are operational.

Complete snag closure prior to handover. Support store launch activities until successful opening. Process Improvement Standardize project execution practices.

Improve execution timelines through process optimization. Implement project management best practices and digital tracking tools. Develop vendor scorecards and performance review mechanisms.
