This technical position focuses on a realtime flight simulator that supports aircraft design and flight testing. Responsibilities Learn simulator architecture and its functions Integrate software and hardware into the aircraft flight simulator or rigs Develop platforms for testing and verifying the aircraft flight simulator or rigs Conduct and participate in technical and planning reviews Develop processes and tools for the test rigs framework Document validations, analyses, processes, and present results Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or electrical engineering Knowledge of the MATLAB simulation tool Good knowledge of C/C++ Background in real‑time systems Comfortable working in a Linux/real‑time Linux environment Experience or knowledge in interfacing realtime simulation with external devices such as aircraft units Knowledge of Ethernet UDP programming Comfortable physically manipulating computer equipment Knowledge of flight simulator visual systems (asset) Understanding of aircraft communication protocols such as ARINC 429 and AFDX (asset) Strong communication and writing skills in English; knowledge of French is an asset Bombardier is an equal opportunity employer and encourages persons of any race, religion, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, immigration status, disability or other applicable legally protected characteristics to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr
