Sales Support Manager A leading UK investment and financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Sales Support Manager to lead its Sales Support function based in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a people-focused leader to manage and develop a high-performing team while supporting a national sales operation within a regulated financial services environment. Working closely with Business Development Managers and key stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing client experience, driving operational efficiency, and supporting business growth.
Key Responsibilities Lead, manage and develop a team of Sales Support Executives, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture Oversee first-line support for advisers and wholesale clients, ensuring timely and accurate handling of onboarding, documentation and compliance processes Support Business Development Managers by coordinating sales activity and enabling efficient client engagement Drive the preparation of tailored presentations, proposals and supporting sales materials Ensure CRM systems are maintained accurately and effectively, monitoring pipeline activity and key performance metrics Coordinate follow-up activity from marketing campaigns and support lead generation initiatives Conduct market research and assist with the segmentation of target client groups Identify opportunities to enhance processes and improve operational efficiency across the sales support function About You Proven experience leading or managing a sales support, client support or business development support team within financial services Strong understanding of UK fund distribution and the regulatory environment Excellent knowledge of CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights Ability to work collaboratively across sales, marketing and operational teams Desirable Knowledge of Consumer Duty and Operational Risk Management Experience managing hybrid teams Degree or equivalent qualification Benefits Competitive salary with annual salary reviews Annual discretionary bonus scheme Long Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) 9% non-contributory pension Private healthcare including dental and optical cover 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays 35-hour working week Cycle to Work scheme Eye test reimbursement Enhanced maternity and paternity benefits This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and collaborative organisation where you can make a tangible impact on sales performance, client experience and team development.
