AI-Powered Application Developer — Associate Manager / Manager
Accenture
Job Description
About the Role Are you ready to step up and take your technology expertise to the next level? Accenture’s Cloud First – Software Development team offers a high‑performing, fast‑paced environment where you’ll focus on client adoption of disruptive technologies, architecture, integration, custom software development, application modernization, agile, and more. We build modern, production‑grade applications from the ground up using the best tools available, including AI.
You Are You are an AI‑Powered Application Developer with strong experience building custom web applications. You’re analytical, thrive on solving complex problems, and enjoy building scalable, high‑quality software from the ground up— not just configuring existing tools. You write precise technical specifications that AI coding agents can act on, direct tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot to generate and test code at scale, and review and own the output with the same craft as code you wrote yourself.
You’re comfortable owning workstreams, collaborating with stakeholders, and continuously raising delivery speed and quality through AI‑augmented ways of working. Responsibilities Translate business and system requirements into detailed technical specifications and then leverage AI coding agents to accelerate implementation across the full stack. Design, develop, test, and maintain production web applications—front end (React, Angular, or similar) and back end (Java, .NET/C#, or equivalent).
Apply AI‑native software development practices, using tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor for code generation, testing, refactoring, and documentation. Design and implement front‑end screens, REST/GraphQL APIs, and integrations. Build and deploy solutions using cloud‑native architectures, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines—primarily on GCP, with exposure to AWS or Azure.
Use containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and observability tooling to ship and operate reliable, scalable applications. Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions. Model AI‑native development practices for the team and advise clients on adopting similar ways of working.
What You'll Need Bachelor’s degree or completion of a college program in a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience as a full‑stack developer. Strong front‑end skills in at least one modern framework (React, Angular, or similar) with solid TypeScript proficiency.
Strong back‑end skills in Java or .NET/C#, including API design and data layer integration. Proven experience building custom applications— not just off‑the‑shelf implementations. Hands‑on experience using AI developer tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar) to deliver real production software, with measurable higher output.
Experience with spec‑driven development: writing structured technical specifications that direct AI coding agents to produce production‑quality code, and the discipline to review and own the output. Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments. Hands‑on experience with cloud‑native delivery— containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and at least one major cloud platform; GCP experience is preferred.
Solid understanding of software design principles, APIs, and integration patterns. Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate ambiguous requirements into working software. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
English is required for this position. Bonus Points If You Have Experience mentoring junior developers or establishing AI‑native development practices on a team. Familiarity with integrating AI/ML services into applications (inference APIs, embeddings, or model‑as‑a‑service endpoints).
Experience with microservices, event‑driven architectures, or distributed systems at enterprise scale. Exposure to enterprise security and compliance requirements (OAuth, RBAC, data residency, audit logging). Experience with data layer design—relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, or integration patterns.
Why Join Us? Work on meaningful, custom‑built solutions for leading enterprise clients. Be part of a team at the forefront of AI‑native software development.
High‑ownership, high‑impact work environment where your AI‑augmented productivity directly shapes what the team can deliver. Opportunity to define what modern software development looks like—and show clients what’s possible.
