We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) to lead the development and delivery of programs that protect employee well-being and ensure compliance with federal legislation.
In this role, you will provide strategic leadership for OHS across the organization, including policies, programs, training, and reporting. You will oversee incident management and investigations, support a culture of prevention and psychological safety, and collaborate with leaders and health and safety committees to drive continuous improvement. As a trusted advisor, you will analyze trends, provide insights to senior leadership, and lead corporate reporting and compliance activities.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Human Resources, Public Administration, Science or a related field, AND some years of experience in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) OR College diploma or certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, Human Resources, Public Administration, Science or a related field, AND several years of experience in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) AND Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Certified Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP), Canadian Registered Safety Technician (CRST), or Certified Health and Safety Consultant (CHSC), an asset Experience In project management In personnel administration In leading enterprise-wide OHS or compliance programs In developing and implementing governance, monitoring and reporting frameworks for regulatory compliance In advising senior leaders on legislative risk, compliance gaps, and mitigation strategies In integrating OHS with related program areas (i.e. disability management, workplace violence prevention, emergency management) In managing complex or high-risk cases, including investigations, return-to-work, and duty to accommodate In leading audits, evaluations, or external reviews and responding to regulatory bodies Competencies Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.
