We’re looking for a true new business hunter . Not an account manager. Not someone who waits for enquiries. This role is for someone who thrives on: Winning new customers Building pipeline from scratch Turning prospects into long-term, high-value accounts We are an established industrial supplies business specialising in mechanical and automation, Site safety and production consumables, with a strong reputation across Yorkshire. Now we’re investing in growth — and this role will be key to delivering our aggressive targets in the fast changing industrial landscape. The Role You’ll be responsible for generating and winning brand new business across: Manufacturing Food & beverage production Distribution & warehousing Recycling & aggregates Operating within a defined local territory, you’ll: Identify and target high-potential industrial companies Proactively prospect via calls, email, LinkedIn and site visits Secure meetings with decision‑makers (operations, procurement, engineering) Deliver tailored proposals focused on cost, service and reliability Convert opportunities into profitable, long‑term accounts What We’re Looking For You’ll likely be: A proven B2B salesperson with a strong track record in new business Comfortable with high levels of outbound activity Confident speaking to senior stakeholders Relentless, resilient and self‑motivated Most importantly: You enjoy the chase You don’t rely on inbound leads You measure success by wins, not effort Experience in industrial supplies, MRO or technical sales is advantageous — but mindset, behaviour& performance matters more.
