GEO Geotechnical Engineer 1 - Atlas Technical Consultants

Key Responsibilities Plan and execute geotechnical field investigations, including drilling, sampling, and in‑situ testing. Analyze soil and rock data to develop engineering recommendations for foundations, slopes, and earthworks. Prepare detailed design calculations, reports, and construction drawings using AutoCAD and GIS platforms.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geotechnical solutions into overall project designs. Provide technical support during construction, including field observations and troubleshooting. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field; PE license preferred. 3+ years of experience in geotechnical investigation and design for infrastructure projects.

Proficiency with GIS, AutoCAD, and geotechnical software (e.g., PLAXIS, GeoStudio). Strong understanding of soil mechanics, foundation systems, and site characterization methods. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to produce clear technical reports. #J-18808-Ljbffr
