Fire Alarm Engineer Location: Northern Ireland & Ireland Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 DOE Company Van & Fuel Card Provided Join a Growing Fire & Safety Specialist Team! Our client, a well-established Fire & Safety company with over 40 years of industry experience, is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join their expanding team. Working across Northern Ireland and Ireland, you'll be involved in the installation, servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of a range of life-safety systems for a diverse customer base. Competitive salary of £28,000 - £35,000 depending on experience 20 days annual leave plus 9 bank holidays Company van and fuel card Optional overtime opportunities to increase earnings Uniform and tools provided Genuine career progression opportunities Company pension scheme Full training and ongoing support Fully paid private health insurance after successful completion of 6-month probation Death in Service insurance Friendly, supportive team environment Key Responsibilities Installation of fire detection and alarm systems Installation and maintenance of aspirating detection systems Installation and servicing of emergency lighting systems Working on disabled refuge, toilet alarm, nurse call and remote monitoring systems Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive service work Diagnosing faults and recommending appropriate solutions Providing excellent customer support and technical advice Liaising with Operations, Sales and Administration teams when required Following company Health & Safety procedures and promoting safe working practices Essential Skills & Experience Experience installing, servicing and fault-finding on fire alarm systems Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Experience working within commercial or construction environments Commitment to maintaining high health and safety standards Full UK driving licence Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desirable Qualifications & Experience City & Guilds 236 Parts 1 & 2 or time-served equivalent 17th or 18th Edition Electrical Qualification Basic programming knowledge of fire and life-safety systems (training can be provided) Apply Today If you're looking for your next career move with a respected and growing Fire & Safety company, we'd love to hear from you.
