Divisional Business Analyst 2 Regular/full-time. Manitoba Justice, Executive and Financial Services, Correctional Services Division, Winnipeg, MB. Salary: BA2 $73,288.00 - $94,584.00 per year.

Duties Reporting to the Executive Director, the Divisional Business Analyst plans, assesses, elicits, analyzes, designs, communicates and validates requirements for changes to the Correctional Offender Management System (COMS), the Multi-Health System (MHS), and more than 30 other in-house computer systems within the Correctional Services Division.
The Analyst takes a lead role in supervising members of the business analyst team and has a dual reporting responsibility to the Executive Director and the Manager of Information Systems within Corporate and Strategic Services Division. Experience eliciting, documenting, and managing business requirements for technology-related projects.
Experience supervising staff including establishing work priorities, schedules and addressing performance management concerns. Experience leading and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT), including: developing test plans, designing and executing test scripts, and managing test cycles and reporting results. Experience developing user training materials and providing training to a variety of stakeholders.
Strong problem solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective, practical solutions. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to present to a variety of stakeholders.
Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and well-structured documentation. Desired Experience working with technology providers to review and improve existing systems. Experience working with Correctional Offender Management System (COMS) or similar software.
