Responsibilities System Analyst is responsible for maintaining and supporting several systems within the Manitoba Geological Survey and the Mining, Oil and Gas Branches, including the Integrated Mining and Quarrying System (iMaQs), Map Gallery, Petrinex, the Manitoba Oil and Gas Well Information System (MOGWIS), and additional legacy systems. The role is involved in planning and testing future system enhancements, coordinating activities such as system testing and training for staff and end users.
The position also participates in business requirements gathering, test planning, change management, and project management activities. The incumbent provides centralized iMaQs support to staff across the Manitoba Geological Survey and the Mining, Oil and Gas Branches in both Winnipeg and regional offices.
