Build real‑time reporting dashboards (Allure, Grafana, etc.) that expose quality metrics to stakeholders. Author and maintain core regression, sanity and smoke test cases for web, mobile and API layers. Produce test plans, coverage matrices and risk‑based test‑prioritization.
Log defects with clear steps, severity and root‑cause analysis; lead triage with developers, product owners and compliance teams. Use test‑management tools (JIRA/ALM/TFS) for traceability. Govern automation code quality through rigorous peer‑reviews and coding‑standard enforcement.
Mentor junior QA engineers; run knowledge‑sharing sessions and champion best practices. Partner with development architects to embed testability (unique test IDs, API hooks). Deliver regular KPI dashboards (coverage, defect leakage, automation ROI).
Implement AI‑driven self‑healing locators and error‑recovery mechanisms to reduce script breakage. Evaluate and rollout AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Tabnine) to speed script authoring and refactoring. Explore AI‑generated functional test cases from user stories/JIRA tickets and vice‑versa.
Propose risk‑based testing strategies, coverage road‑maps and lightweight automation (Cypress, Playwright, Postman). Required Education, Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience). Minimum 7+ years of hands‑on automation testing. Strong coding ability in Java or Python .
Expert‑level experience with Selenium (WebDriver, Grid). Proven track record designing modular test frameworks (Page‑Object, BDD, etc.). Practical experience integrating automated suites into Jenkins, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps and using Git/GitHub/Bitbucket for source control.
Ability to diagnose flaky tests, analyze failures and implement robust fixes. Experience testing capital‑markets, banking or related financial applications (preferred but not mandatory). Familiarity with Playwright , Cypress , or other modern UI testing libraries. Experience running tests in Docker containers and orchestrating with Kubernetes . Use of blue‑green deployments, canary releases, or multi‑environment pipelines.
Experience provisioning and scaling test environments on AWS, Azure or GCP . Deep knowledge of capital‑markets, trading or risk‑management workflows. Proven ability to coach junior QA engineers and lead community‑of‑practice sessions.
