Senior Systems Integration Engineer β Virtual Engineering
Litens Automotive Group
Job Description
Senior Systems Integration Engineer β Virtual Engineering Field: Product Engineering Location: Canada Posted: June 5, 2026 What you will do: Lead the definition, integration, and validation of complex mechatronic and electrified systems. Drive system-level architecture and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) execution across cross-functional domains, enabling scalable, robust, and executable system solutions. Lead system-level architecture, definition, and integration of complex mechatronic and electrified products using MBSE, ensuring alignment across controls, software, electrical, and mechanical domains.
Develop and own system models and MBSE artifacts, including system architecture, interfaces, and model governance, ensuring traceability and consistency across the product lifecycle. Translate product and system requirements into executable system models (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink) and support validation through MIL, SIL, and HIL environments. Define and drive cross-domain integration strategies and co-simulation environments to enable system validation, performance optimization, and early-phase calibration.
Develop and integrate electrical and electronic system models, including power electronics, inverter and motor control models, and embedded control interfaces, within system-level architectures. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure robust system design, integration, and validation, operating effectively in fast-paced automotive product development environments. What you will bring: PhD (preferred) or Masterβs degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
Proven handsβon experience in MBSE implementation, system integration, and executable modeling in industrial settings (automotive preferred). Strong experience with system-level modeling tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink or equivalent). Experience working across the automotive product development lifecycle, including system integration and validation (MIL, SIL, HIL).
