CNC Programmer

Job Description Job Description Currently seeking a CNC Programmer for a full-time permanent position in Stoughton, MA. Benefits include: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, 401K, Paid Time Off, and Paid holidays Responsibilities of CNC Programmer include: -Perform 2D and solid model programming -Generate and edit NC codes -Follow all processes and procedures for NC code and file saving -Make recommendations for areas of cost reduction and process improvements -Consistently meet project deadlines and department goals -Perform other related tasks as assigned Requirements of CNC Programmer -Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent -At least 5 years of CNC lathes, milling centers, wireEDM, and water jet machine programming -Ability to read blue prints and other schematics -Experience with Cad-Cam systems, SolidWorks and bobCAD preferred -Good machine shop math skills -Knowledgeable of GD&T -Great attention to detail -Well organized with ability to prioritize tasks Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday with possible overtime Pay rate: $34.00-$40.00/hr based on experience Company Description The Alpha Group is one of Massachusetts largest privately owned staffing firms.
