You’ll play a critical role in ensuring zero-defect performance, enhancing product safety, and driving continuous improvement across a complex and fast-paced value stream. Quality Engineer What You’ll Be Doing Leading root cause analysis and corrective actions using tools such as 8D, 5 Whys and A3 Driving quality performance metrics (e.g.
First Pass Yield, defect reduction, audit outcomes) Conducting process, product, and system audits to AS9100 / ISO9001 standards Supporting First Article Inspections (FAIRs) to AS9102 Identifying and mitigating quality risks across the product lifecycle Partnering with suppliers to improve incoming quality and supplier performance Leading and supporting continuous improvement and Zero Defect initiatives Ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements (CAA, EASA, etc.) Quality Engineer What Success Looks Like Delivery of defect-free products that meet all regulatory and customer requirements Measurable reduction in defects and cost of poor quality Strong audit performance with robust QMS compliance High levels of customer satisfaction and trust A culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence Quality Engineer Essential Skills & Experience Experience in aerospace, defence or highly regulated industries Proven expertise in problem-solving methodologies (8D, RCA, 5 Whys) Hands on experience with APQP, FMEA, PPAP, Control Plans Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Background in continuous improvement (Lean / Six Sigma) Quality Engineer Key Traits for Success Strong communicator with the ability to influence at all levels Analytical, detail-oriented, and solutions-focused Proactive, self-motivated and resilient A collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset
