Role Overview: We are looking for a highly analytical and curious Product Research Analyst to drive market intelligence, product insights, and data-backed recommendations that influence product strategy and business growth.
The ideal candidate will combine strong research capabilities with quantitative analysis skills to identify emerging trends, customer needs, competitive opportunities, and market dynamics. This role requires a structured thinker who can transform complex data into actionable insights, support strategic decision-making, and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Business, Marketing, and Leadership teams. What You'll Do: Conduct in-depth market, industry, and competitive research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
Analyze customer behavior, user feedback, and market signals to generate actionable product insights. Monitor industry developments, emerging technologies, and evolving consumer preferences. Develop research frameworks, dashboards, and reports to support product strategy and roadmap planning.
Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis using multiple data sources to uncover growth opportunities. Create executive-ready presentations highlighting key findings, recommendations, and strategic implications. Track competitor products, pricing strategies, feature launches, and go-to-market initiatives.
Partner with Product Managers and business stakeholders to evaluate new product ideas and validate market demand. Identify patterns, correlations, and insights from large datasets to support product innovation and optimization. Build and maintain research repositories, market intelligence databases, and trendmonitoring mechanisms.
Support leadership with periodic market outlooks, opportunity assessments, and strategic recommendations. What we’re looking for: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field. 2–6 years of experience in product research, market research, business analysis, consulting, strategy, or a similar analytical role. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize large volumes of information into clear insights.
Experience conducting primary and secondary research. Strong understanding of market dynamics, consumer behavior, and competitive intelligence methodologies. Ability to interpret quantitative data and identify meaningful trends.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to present insights to senior stakeholders. Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple research projects simultaneously. High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
Curiosity-driven approach with a passion for uncovering opportunities through research. Preferred skills: Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools such as SQL, Power BI, or Tableau. Understanding of market research and competitive intelligence methodologies.
Experience working with product, business, or strategy teams. Strong presentation and stakeholder communication skills. Familiarity with AI-powered research and productivity tools.
Ability to translate research findings into clear, actionable recommendations. Work Setup: This is a full-time, work-from-office role based at our Bangalore office. We believe high bandwidth and in-person collaboration are the fastest way to build great AI products in our current stage.
