Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js / NestJS) Location: Ghansoli, Navi Mumbai (Work From Office) Experience: 3–5 Years About the Rol eWe are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our engineering team and help build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Node.js, NestJS, Microservices Architecture, and real-time communication technologies This role requires a strong product engineering mindset, ownership of backend services, and the ability to design and develop systems that support large-scale enterprise applications Key Responsibilitie sDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and NestJS .Build and optimize RESTful APIs and Microservices Architecture .Develop and maintain real-time communication systems using WebSockets and WebRTC .Design secure, high-performance, and highly available backend services .Work with PostgreSQL and Redis for efficient data storage and caching .Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes .Collaborate closely with Product, Frontend, DevOps, and Engineering teams .Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making .Ensure code quality through best practices, testing, performance optimization, and security standards .Take ownership of backend modules from development through production deployment Required Skill sStrong hands-on experience in Node.js Backend Development .Experience working with NestJS Framework .Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture .Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Redis .Experience with Docker and Kubernetes .Experience building real-time applications using WebSockets .Understanding of WebRTC is highly preferred .Strong knowledge of API design, authentication, authorization, and backend security .Experience in designing scalable and high-performance distributed systems .Good understanding of system design and backend architecture principles Preferred Backgroun dExperience working in Product-Based Companies, SaaS Platforms, Enterprise Software, Communication Platforms, or Technology Startups .Experience building chat platforms, collaboration tools, messaging systems, communication products, or real-time applications .Experience handling end-to-end backend project ownership Ideal Candidat eStrong Individual Contributor with hands-on coding expertise .Product-minded engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges .Experience working in fast-paced engineering environments .Strong problem-solving and debugging skills .Ability to take ownership and drive projects independently Good to Hav eExperience with WebRTC, Socket.IO, Media Servers, or Communication Platforms .Exposure to Cybersecurity or Privacy-Focused Products .Experience handling high-concurrency and large-scale backend systems .
