Job Title: Implementation Project Manager Location: Pune, Maharashtra Experience: 12+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role: Lead and manage end-to-end implementation of reconciliation/payment solutions for enterprise customers. Act as the primary interface between the organization and the client, ensuring successful delivery, adoption, and transition to operations. Drive solutioning by understanding customer pain points and translating them into scalable system implementations while ensuring alignment with business, technical, and operational goals. Roles & Responsibilities Lead end-to-end implementation lifecycle from business award to go-live and stabilization Act as the primary point of contact for customers during implementation Understand customer pain points and translate them into effective product solutions Validate business requirements, scope, and technical specifications through POC engagements Plan and execute multiple implementation projects within defined scope, timelines, and budget Drive cross-functional collaboration across product, engineering, operations, and client teams Design scalable implementation frameworks and define roles within delivery teams Ensure proper change management and governance throughout implementation lifecycle Oversee system configuration, integration, testing, and deployment activities Lead go-live planning, execution, and post-implementation transition to operations Define and validate SOPs in collaboration with IT and operations teams Conduct training and enablement sessions for end-users and client teams Monitor performance metrics and ensure delivery against agreed KPIs Identify risks, manage escalations, and drive resolution with stakeholders Conduct post-implementation reviews and ensure successful adoption Skills & Experience Required 12+ years of experience in implementation/project delivery roles within payments or fintech domain Strong experience in client-facing implementation roles Deep understanding of payment ecosystems (Visa, Mastercard, UPI, payment gateway, clearing & settlement systems) Experience with reconciliation systems and financial transaction processing Proven track record of managing end-to-end implementations and large-scale deployments Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions Hands-on experience with API integrations, ERP/CRM systems, and data analytics tools Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools like Jira & Confluence Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across multiple levels Ability to manage cross-functional teams, vendors, and implementation pods Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and execution skills Experience in training, SOP development, and operational transition Why Optimus?
