PLC Automation Engineer

We are looking for an Automation Engineer (5–8 years of experience) with strong hands-on expertise in industrial automation, PLC programming, and SCADA systems. The candidate should have experience in designing, developing, testing, and commissioning automation solutions using PLC platforms such as Siemens, Mitsubishi, Beckhoff, and other leading industrial controllers. A solid understanding of industrial communication protocols and machine/process automation is essential. The role involves developing and troubleshooting PLC logic, integrating PLCs with SCADA systems, and supporting factory automation and digitalization initiatives. Candidates should have practical experience with SCADA/HMI development and configuration, including alarms, trends, dashboards, and historian integration using platforms such as Ignition or similar systems. The ideal candidate should possess a good understanding of OPC UA architecture, client-server communication, security, and information modeling. Experience in configuring and troubleshooting OPC UA connectivity between PLCs, SCADA, MES, and enterprise applications is desirable. Exposure to OPC UA Companion Specifications and NodeSet development, particularly OPC 40001 (OPC UA for Machinery), is desirable. Candidates with experience in supporting OT/IT integration projects, and working within Industry 4.0 environments will be preferred.

Strong problem-solving skills, commissioning experience, and the ability to work independently with cross-functional teams are essential.
