Job Description

Overview Join AWS Partner Systems as a Software Development Engineer building the future of partner experience. You will design and develop scalable, secure services that support the AWS Partner Network, enabling partners to register, onboard, and operate across multiple sales channels. Key Responsibilities Design and develop services supporting partner onboarding, migration, account management, and automated journey orchestration.

Deliver high‑quality features through rapid iteration cycles and participate in architecture discussions. Collaborate on technical designs as living specifications that evolve with implementation. Build secure, highly available, performant systems using native AWS services.

Employ AI‑assisted practices for development, prompting tools for API specifications, prototyping, and testing. Qualifications Required 3+ years of professional software development experience (non‑internship). 2+ years of design or architecture experience, focusing on reliability and scaling. Experience programming in at least one language.

Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the full life cycle: coding standards, architectures, code reviews, source control, CI/CD, testing, and operations. Preferred 3+ years of experience across the full software development life cycle, including build processes, testing, and operations. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

Benefits & Compensation Base salary range: 114,800.00 – 191,800.00 CAD annually (Canada, BC). Total compensation may include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
