Job Description
Main duties of the job The post holder will provide day‑to‑day support across multiple programmes, ensuring smooth delivery and effective coordination. This includes: Programme administration – maintaining project documentation, updating trackers, preparing materials, and supporting delivery logistics. Examples: updating project plans, circulating learning materials, coordinating enrolment lists, maintaining SharePoint folders.
Project monitoring – tracking progress against milestones, identifying slippage, and supporting risk and issue management. Examples: updating RAG ratings, logging risks, preparing highlight reports. Data and reporting – supporting evaluation, collating feedback, and contributing to programme reports.
Examples: compiling survey data, producing summary dashboards, supporting evaluation frameworks. Administrative support – meeting coordination, workshop and event support, information management. Examples: scheduling stakeholder meetings, drafting agendas, producing accurate minutes, updating action logs; booking venues, managing participant lists; maintaining version control, organising shared drives.
What you will bring to the role Key skills, knowledge and behaviour: GCSEs including English and maths (C/4 or above) or equivalent. Experience of providing high‑level project support to projects. Ability to recognise risks or issues and the implication for the project.
Ability to plan and organise complex activities, formulating and adjusting plans as necessary. Evidence of working autonomously within the constraints of agreed policy & procedure. Understanding of data protection legislation including GDPR.
