Zonal Credit Manager – Real Estate Financing / Developer Funding

The Zonal Credit Manager will be responsible for overseeing credit appraisal, risk assessment, and portfolio monitoring of real estate financing and developer funding proposals. This role ensures adherence to credit policies, regulatory compliance, and effective risk mitigation while supporting business growth. Key Responsibilities: Credit Appraisal & Underwriting Evaluate and approve credit proposals for developer funding and real estate financing projects.

Conduct detailed analysis of borrower financials, project feasibility, cash flow projections, and collateral valuation. Ensure compliance with NBFC credit policies and regulatory guidelines. Risk Management Identify, assess, and mitigate credit risks associated with large-ticket real estate projects.

Monitor exposure levels and ensure portfolio quality across the zone. Implement early warning systems to flag potential stress accounts. Stakeholder Management Collaborate with business teams to balance growth and risk objectives.

Maintain strong relationships with developers, consultants, and internal stakeholders. Represent the zone in credit committee discussions and decision-making forums. Qualifications & Experience: Postgraduate with 15+ years of experience in credit appraisal, underwriting, and asset monitoring within NBFCs, banks, or financial institutions specializing in real estate financing.

Strong knowledge of developer funding structures, project finance, and regulatory frameworks. Proven track record of managing large-ticket credit portfolios in Mumbai
