Job Description
Company Description WAA is looking for a Workflow Automation Engineer to own the integration layer across our 5 internal departments. You will design, build, and maintain automated workflows that connect our internal tools and third-party platforms โ eliminating manual effort and improving data reliability across the business. This is a hands-on technical role: you will work with modern no-code/low- code platforms, REST APIs, webhooks, and Python scripting to deliver integrations that work reliably at scale.
WHAT YOU WILL DO โข Build and maintain integration workflows using Make (Integromat), Zapier, or n8n to connect WAA's internal and third-party tools โข Configure and manage webhooks for real-time data exchange between systems โข Consume and troubleshoot REST APIs; read and write API documentation across JSON and XML formats โข Map and transform data between disparate systems (JSON โ XML โ CSV) โข Integrate industry platforms โ DAM, PIM, MIS โ into agency production workflows โข Connect AI services (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google AI) and productivity tools via APIs โข Write Python scripts to automate data flows and handle integration logic where no-code tools fall short โข Build ETL pipelines; write SQL queries to validate and manipulate integration data โข Implement error-catching logic, alerting, and monitoring dashboards to ensure uptime โข Apply secure data transfer practices โ OAuth, API keys, token management โ and ensure GDPR compliance โข Analyze manual processes across WAA departments and design automated workflows to replace them โข Produce clear technical documentation: data flows, field mappings, error codes, and system dependencies โข Manage integration scripts and configs in Git for traceability and rollback. WHAT WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR This role is not for enterprise middleware specialists. Profiles whose experience is exclusively in MuleSoft, Boomi, or TIBCO are unlikely to be a fit.
We need someone comfortable building lightweight, agile integrations โ not large-scale enterprise ESB deployments.
