Workday Integration Developer

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain Workday integrations using technologies such as APIs, EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, RaaS, Studio, and Orchestrate. Manage and support data flows between Workday and downstream systems including Payroll, Finance, Identity & Access Management, and enterprise data platforms. Oversee integration platform operations and API management, including SOAP/REST services, authentication methods, vendor updates, and technical performance monitoring.

Deploy and maintain integrations with external applications and data warehouses, ensuring secure data transmission through encryption, PGP, secret management, private endpoints, and network controls. Act as a Workday technical SME, translating business requirements and user stories into scalable technical solutions and system designs. Serve as an escalation point for troubleshooting integration and configuration issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable fixes.

Lead integration-related release activities, including impact analysis, regression testing, mandatory update reviews, and break/fix support. Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits, validations, and proactive system maintenance across integrated platforms. Stay up to date with Workday releases, emerging technologies, and industry best practices, driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Support training, documentation, and change management activities related to Workday enhancements while mentoring and sharing knowledge with HRIS team members. Key Requirements: Proven experience working with Workday Core HCM and related modules. Strong understanding of HR processes, system integrations, and end-to-end data flows.

Expertise in Workday Reporting, including Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports, as well as calculated fields and EIBs. Hands-on experience developing and supporting Workday integrations using tools such as Studio, Core Connectors, and related technologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. A strong focus on data integrity, confidentiality, governance, and continuous improvement.
