Job details Location Edmonton , AB T5L 2R7 Salary 20.00 to 30.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 40 hours per week Terms of employment Permanent employment Full time Work must be completed at the physical location. Work setting Millwork shop Manufacturing or production Institutional Custom cabinet shop Custom Work Commercial Independently owned business Responsibilities Direct and control daily operations Evaluate daily operations Plan and organize daily operations Manage staff and assign duties Train or arrange for training Supervise workers and projects Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies Recommend personnel actions Prepare production and other reports Oversee apprenticeship training Establish methods to meet work schedules Ensure health and safety regulations are followed Co-ordinate and schedule activities Requisition materials and supplies Read blueprints and drawings Area of specialization Millwork Doors and door frames Cabinets Work conditions and physical capabilities Fast-paced environment Work under pressure Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Own tools/equipment Steel-toed safety boots Safety glasses/goggles Personal suitability Goal-oriented Hardworking Outgoing Proactive Time management Flexibility Organized Team player Ability to multitask Accurate Reliability Dedication Group insurance benefits Other benefits Other benefits Who can apply for this job?
