Job Category : Engineering Requisition Number : WATER001866 Posted: December 1, 2025 Full‑Time Location Winnipeg, MB R3P1B3, CAN Description Neegan Burnside Ltd. is growing, and we’re looking for a driven Intermediate Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our Winnipeg team and support communities across Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario. If you’re passionate about improving access to clean, reliable water systems and you’re ready to take a larger leadership role, this is an exciting opportunity to shape both your career and the future of our Water/Wastewater Group. You’ll collaborate with a skilled, multidisciplinary team and work on meaningful municipal projects from concept through to construction and commissioning.

What You’ll Do Lead and manage water/wastewater projects and project teams. Collaborate with senior engineers and team managers in project execution. Oversee preparation of reports, functional and detailed designs.

Mentor and support the development of EITs and junior staff. Manage client relationships and contribute to business development efforts. Prepare proposals, workplans, technical reports, and specifications.

Conduct studies, assessments, and asset management planning. Participate in industry events and present technical papers as needed. What You Bring Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Manitoba or eligible for transfer.

Minimum 10 years of experience in consulting and design within water/wastewater sectors. Proven project management experience with strong time and budget control. Strong technical writing, client management, and facilitation skills.

Demonstrated leadership and team development capabilities. Preferred Experience AutoCAD, BIM, REVIT, and/or MicroStation. Experience working with Indigenous clients and communities.
