ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Develops and manages a productive warehouse operations team by hiring qualified personnel, utilizing effective communication and motivational techniques, providing ongoing performance management, rewarding higher levels of performance, and providing effective training, development, and succession planning. Manages warehouse systems, resources, and daily activities of warehouse teams to ensure excellent service levels, low transactional cost, and superior quality levels.

Provides appropriate information during team talks, department meetings, and warehouse announcements. Ensures compliance with applicable industry standards by documenting and implementing policies and processes and ensuring all employees are trained in standard operational procedures. Customarily oversees quality reports and/or coaching & development reports presented by Supervisors.

Regularly directs the work of two or more full‑time employees or their equivalent. Provides suggestions and recommendations for performance and status changes, including transfer, advancement, termination, and hiring. Meets and maintains turnover goals.

Develops and maintains quality and productivity metrics and implements strategic process improvements to increase warehouse productivity, improve quality, and enhance customer experience. Assists management in implementing changes as required. Addresses inactivity, excessive breaks, tardies, absences, abandoned picks, and ensures out‑time is used/approved appropriately.

Effectively performs or oversees administrative aspects of position, including approval of weekly stats, completion of performance reviews, development and administration of corrective action documents, timesheet review, payroll change submissions, time‑worked approvals, vacation and time‑off requests, system access coordination, security level maintenance, and quality record keeping. Plans labor requirements based on operation workloads and skill sets needed and recommends staffing needs to the Warehouse Director. Assists with internal interviews.

Maintains effective communications and partnerships with peers (including alternate shifts) and additional warehouse management staff to ensure seamless operations. Engages in professional relationship building with the team. Performs detailed research regarding quality issues and implements corrective action plans as needed.

Manages teams with integrity, ethical business practices, and in accordance with Mouser policies, procedures, and practices. Customarily and regularly directs the work of two or more full‑time employees or their equivalent. Provides suggestions and recommendations for performance, including hiring, transfer, advancement, and termination.

Manages daily operations to meet department and company objectives. Works with minimum supervision and makes independent judgments. Is flexible to meet changing business needs and willing to take on new responsibilities and assignments.

Initiates, establishes, and maintains highly effective relationships with internal and external business contacts of various cultures and at all levels. Is extremely confidential and trustworthy. Demonstrates knowledge, experience, and understanding of critical job functions of the team and people management.

Assists management with developing results‑oriented strategies. Regular attendance at work is an essential part of the job. SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS Highly focused on business fundamentals: quality, cost, and timing.

Ability to operate powered industrial vehicles. Ability to perform physical work in a warehouse environment, including lifting (up to 40 lbs.), bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, climbing, extended standing, walking, and use of hands. Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office experience required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s Degree in any field, or minimum of 3 years prior work experience that is relevant to the team you will manage. Internal candidates: Minimum 2 years as a highly performing Mouser Team Lead or Supervisor. External candidates: Minimum 3 years as a supervisor or higher‑level management position.

Four to five years of related supervisory or management experience in a high‑volume warehouse operation is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
