The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the enterprise cloud and platform strategy, setting the vision for cloud architecture, and championing modernization initiatives. This role requires a leader who can drive the adoption of cloud-native technologies, containerization, and serverless architectures, and who is adept at building and leading high-performing DevOps, System Engineering, and Platform Engineering teams. The VP will also be tasked with ensuring the operational excellence of mission-critical systems, partnering with cross-functional teams, and leading the organization in a product- and agile-operating model. Applicants for the VP of Cloud Engineering position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with an advanced degree and relevant Microsoft certifications being a plus. A minimum of 10 years' experience in infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering, with at least 5 years in leadership roles, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in large-scale Microsoft Azure environments, Microsoft 365, and in delivering internal developer platforms that enhance developer velocity. Advanced skills in Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, GitOps, and cloud-native architecture patterns are essential. Experience in high-growth, regulated environments, particularly in healthcare or data-intensive platforms, is strongly preferred.
